best documentary everr. hands down. bow to them.
applaud people applaud!
i watched this twice.

it is a documentary about a group of aged choir. well, they are not your typical harmonious choir. they sing anything from punk to rock! how cool. it is a heart touching movie. i laughed..and cried throughout the movie. i can't make myself to even pause for awhile(i was really hungry tonight despite the heavy dinner i had with bf). it is really engaging. you will see how innocent they can be. you can't help, but i have to say, fell in love with thier personalities of each individual.

this was performed at a jailhouse. before they went there, they were told a shocking news. one of thier former member, who was supposed to perform on thier upcoming performance within the 7 weeks of documentation, was pronounced dead the night before. however, they stayed strong. they performed a beautiful song(above) for thier dear friend, Bob Salvani.

A week later after Bob died, the main star of the choir, Joe Benoit, died too.(above, wearing a maroon cardigan) he was one of the musketeers. hehe. cute isnt it. they consist of ellen,a 92year old, and lenny. i cant remember how old he was. but he was closest to joe. it was really sad. he,as the others, had positive thinking. he kept saying he loves singling with the group. and a few days before he died, he said,he knew life was not going to end soon for him. but unfortunately, it did. as a tribute, one of the members sang Stereophonics' Nothing Compares To You. shucks.

they showed the perfomance; 'Young@Hearts: WELL AND ALIVE'. which is ironic, because with joe in the middle, who seems full of gust and energetic, died before the show.

one of the highlights that evening was, when, one of another former member, Fred, sang Coldplay's Fix You. yet another tear moving performance. he was supposed to duet with Bob Salvani. he teared at the last part too.

this movie shows the meaning of life. you only got one life to live. live to the fullest. stop complaining and whining about how bad your life is. look on the brighter side. yes, as cliche as it sounds, just look at it. let the sun beams kiss on your skin. feel the warmth. it will make you feel better. just look on the positive side of life. it helps. you never know when you will pass on. you can never predict.

live life loves.
